Mimaki France, a leading provider of industrial inkjet printers, cutting plotters, and 3D printers, announces its participation at Salon C!Print from 6th to 8th February 2024 (Stand 2P24). As the print industry converges in Lyon, Mimaki aims its sights on demonstrating how its cutting-edge, top-quality and cost-efficient solutions can empower printers to “change the game” – whether that’s exploring new markets and opportunities or elevating existing application offerings.

With the show’s 2024 tagline calling on attendees to “change the game” in the year of the Olympic Games in Paris, the Salon C!Print show is a hub for innovation. Mimaki is poised to use this platform to showcase its state-of-the-art technologies, from vibrant signage to textile printing, with tools to help printers boost their production workflow and raise the bar in their business. Mimaki, a gold sponsor for the event, will show how both its software and hardware solutions can help printers discover new markets.

Mimaki will spotlight UV printing technology on its stand, with both the UJV100-160Plus and the UCJV330-160 making their debut at a French show. As the latest entry into the 100 series, the UJV100-160 Plus allows for higher efficiency at a lower power consumption, while the new UCJV330-160 is a versatile roll-to-roll integrated printer designed to significantly improve productivity for quality sign graphics applications. Both printers will be displayed at Mimaki’s stand alongside the CJV330-160, CG-130AR, UJF-6042MkII e and the JFX600-2513. Another printer making its French show debut will be the Tiger600-1800TS, which will be located at Mimaki dealer Mautom’s stand (2P36), meanwhile a TxF150-75 will be in action at the Plug&Play area, where visitors can see it personalising fabric bags.

For software, the company’s latest ‘ink saving’ function (part of the RIP Rasterlink) supports printers in reducing production costs by optimising ink consumption, without compromising on print quality. Freely available across all Mimaki printers, this solution replaces a percentage of cyan, yellow and magenta inks with black, reducing the quantity of ink needed. Responding to the market need for more cost-effective solutions, adopting this function can offer savings of up to 50%, depending on the application.
